I. Working principle
The hydraulic puller employs the high-strength alloy steel claw and advanced manufacturing technique, and features safety cage
protection, safety valve protection, long service life, high safety, etc. The operation of the hydraulic puller relies on the forward movement
of the hydraulic piston rod, during which the piston rod does not rotate. The safety cage seat can be moved forward or backward directly
along with the thread to adjust the spread of the claw. During operation, if the handle is rotated (by less than 45 ) or the manual pump is
operated to move the piston rod forward, the claw will move backward correspondingly and thus pull out the part to be moved.
II. Application scope
The hydraulic puller is an ideal new tool replacing the traditional puller. The puller features compact structure, easy and flexible to use, light
weight, small size, labor saving, and convenient to carry. Its application places includes factory, repair shop, etc.
This series of puller can work at -20℃ ~ 45℃ and will not be affected by the altitude.

IV. Application method
Important
- Select the hydraulic puller of corresponding tonnage according to the outer diameter, draw length and loading
capacity of the part to be removed before use. Do not overload the puller for fear of damage.
- To operate the integrated type puller, tighten the oil return valve screw ② first, and then rotate the handle ① up and
down (by less than 45° ).
- To operate the split type puller, connect the quick connector ⑥ of the manual pump and the puller first, and then
remove the bleed screw ⑦ . If the oil in the pump is insufficient, the pump will not work before sufficient oil (L-HV15
hydraulic oil) is added to the pump via the bleed screw ⑦ .
Properly select position, tighten the oil return valve screw ② on the oil pump clockwise, and then operate the manual
pump.
- Adjust the claw ⑤ on the claw seat to catch the part to be removed and ensure that the puller center and the
centerline of the part to be removed are in the same line, adjust the adjusting nut ③ until the claw ⑤ is protected
by the safety cage ④ reliably, and then rotate the handle ① to allow the piston rod to move forward stably and
hydraulically, after which the claw will move backward correspondingly and thus pull out the part to be moved.
If the travel is too long, stop the operation immediately when the red warning line on the piston rod is exposed as
overtravel operation is prohibited. In this case, loosen the oil return valve screw ② to allow the piston rod to move
backward, readjust the puller, and then pull the part to be removed again until it is pull out.
- Loosen the oil return valve screw ② on the puller or on the manual pump, after which the piston rod gradually will
move backward under the action of the spring.
The oil return valve screw ② can only be loosened by hand not by any tools; otherwise, the unloading valve may be
damaged, leading to puller failure.
- To prevent the puller damage caused by overloading, the integrated type puller or the manual pump is equipped with
overload safety valve inside. If the part to be removed exceeds the rated load, the overload safety valve will unload
automatically and the hydraulic puller of greater tonnage shall be used.
