Data transmission to the ContiConnect portal

It is necessary to assign the central telematics unit in the ContiConnect
portal to a vehicle so that the transmitted information is displayed there.
For this, contact your Continental contact person with the serial number
of the central telematics unit and the vehicle identification.
Once it has been successfully commissioned, it can take up to an hour
before the data is transferred to the ContiConnect portal, despite being
assigned. The connection status of the central telematics unit can be
checked with the help of the chapter "Diagnosis based on status
LEDs" on page 24 .
If the central telematics unit is within the range of a 2G or 3G mobile
network (similar to your smartphone), the central telematics unit
automatically establishes a data connection with the ContiConnect
and transmits the information to the database.
NOTE

If there is no active data connection between the
central telematics unit and the ContiConnect, the
information from the ContiPressureCheck system is
cached until the next active data connection on the
device. The basic requirement for the subsequent
display in the ContiConnect portal is that the central
telematics unit has already been assigned to a vehicle.
