Intended Use

The ContiConnect Telematics Kit contains the central telematics unit.
This reads out the data of a ContiPressureCheck system and sends it to
the ContiConnect portal via a mobile network. The central telematics unit
is connected to the ContiPressureCheck system by means of a Y cable
(wiring harness N). The central telematics unit is only intended for use
on powered vehicles. It is not possible to transfer data of towed vehicles.
CAUTION
Possible damage to property.
It is not permissible to connect the central telematics
unit to the vehicle's own CAN bus!

This restriction also applies in connection with the
ContiPressureCheck system if it is connected to the
vehicle's own CAN bus.

association safety and accident prevention regulations when
performing the works.

Before carrying out work on the electrical system, it is imperative
that the relevant vehicle manufacturer's instructions are observed.

This installation manual is intended for repair shop personnel with
specialist knowledge in vehicle electrics.
■
Keep the installation manual in close proximity to the workstation
at all times. It must be read and followed by all those charged with
installation, commissioning, operation and/or diagnostics.
