FAULT
Opening of devices and replacement of parts subject to water pressure must only
be performed by licensed persons to ensure the safety and leak-tightness of the
devices.
Troubleshooting:
Fault
The pipe disconnector
briefly discharges the
intermediate pres-
sure zone and then
continues operating
normally.
Constant leaking at
the relief valve.
It must be ensured that the operating elements of the heating circuit refill unit are not fouled by dirt parti-
cles. Impurities can result in leaks at the outlet hopper (see chapter 5.5 "MOUNTING THE HEATING CIR-
CUIT REFILL UNIT").
Cause
Inlet side pressure variations or
positive or negative pressure surg-
es, e.g. due to quickly closing shut-
off valves cause a sporadic trigger-
ing of the relief valve in the inter-
mediate pressure zone.
Relief valve seal fouled or defec-
tive.
Remedy
Relieving of the intermediate pressure zone
when inlet side pressure variations occur
forms part of the normal functioning of the
pipe disconnector.
Clear fouling or replace pipe disconnector
cartridge!
If necessary clean the upstream drinking wa-
ter filter (backwash) or install as close as
possible to the pipe disconnector!
