INSTALLATION

5.1

GENERAL

Installation must only be performed by suitably qualified technical personnel.
chapter 4.1 "INTENDED USE" must be observed without fail!
The pipe in which the heating circuit refill unit is installed, must be able to safely withstand the weight of
the heating circuit refill unit. Otherwise mechanical damage up to and including breaks can result. This can
result in severe water damage.
Should such an event occur, persons in the vicinity of the heating circuit refill unit are exposed to a risk of
injury or harm because of the large water volumes that could escape.
For this reason pipes must, where necessary, be provided with additional fastenings or support.
For easy operation and maintenance always maintain a clearance space of at least 250 mm above and be-
low the device.
5.2

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE PLACE OF INSTALLATION

To ensure fault-free operation, observe the following requirements:
/ The installation room must be dry and free from frost. It must not be possible for unauthorised persons
to access the room.
/ The water heating circuit refill unit must not be subject to severe impacts.
/ The installation of the heating circuit refill unit upstream of the water meter is forbidden.
Always install the heating circuit refill unit horizontally (± 5°)!
(Outlet hopper vertically downwards)
