Technician's Tipp:
In case there is a high degree of atrophy
on the patient's leg, doubling the
padding on the femoral panel may be
helpful to achieve a proper fit (fig.32).
An additional pad can be ordered with
REF 23.604.050.00.

Fitting the Orthosis
on a Lying Patient
Please note:
Especially when fitting
the orthosis on a lying patient, accura-
tely preadjusting the DynaCox evolution
is very important in order to make the
process as simple as possible for both
patient and orthopedic technician.
1.
During the application, the patient
should be lying on her/his back.
2.
Pass the pelvic brace together with
the bandage under the patient's lum-
bar region (fig. 33).

Position the DynaCox evolution in a
way that places the upper edge of the
femoral panel directly under the grea-
ter trochanter, so that the lateral bars
are positioned on the lateral femoral
center line.
4.
First close the bandage's pelvic hook
and loop closure (fig. 34).

Now close the pelvic brace of the
orthosis component with the central
buckle (fig. 35).

Minor adjustments can also be made
with the straps to the right and the left
of the central buckle on the anterior
belt (fig. 36).
