the condylar clasp has been adjusted,

The condylar pads should rest against the
leg on the medial and lateral side, above
the condyles (fig. 17).

5.
Insert the lower lateral bar into the Click
& Lock closure on the femoral panel
(fig. 18). At the most, the lateral bar can
be pushed into the femoral panel until
it reaches the top stop. A short lateral
bar, which can be used if the patient's
femur is exceptionally short, is optio-
nally available (REF 23.604.040.00).
The lateral bars must not be shortened
under any circumstances!

6.
To secure the bar's position, only push
the Click & Lock closure's lever in until it
just touches the femoral panel, but do
not push the lever all the way into the
cut-out on the panel.
7.
Do not lock the Click & Lock closure
completely yet, so it remains possible to
make adjustments later on, if necessary.
In case the closure can later not be
locked completely, try to push or pull the
bar up or down a little while the Click &
Lock closure is already pushed in, so the
pins can audibly lock into a hole.
8.
Put the pads back into the pelvic panels.
Attaching the Orthosis
Component to the Bandage
1.
Open the central buckle on the anterior
belt.
2.
Attach the orthosis component to the
bandage by pushing the pelvic brace
through the loop on the back of the
bandage (fig. 19).
