Adjusting the ROM-Flex Joint
Pull the black joint cover back, far enough so
you are able to remove the screws (fig. 6).

Please note:
the stop screws at a time. If both screws
are opened at the same time, the threa-
ded ring on the rear of the joint will come
undone. However, the rear ring can be scre-
wed back on, without any loss of functio-
nality to the joint.

Upon delivery, the ROM-Flex joint is set
to 60° flexion and extension (fig. 7).

To change the range of motion, comple-
tely unscrew one of the stop screws.

The current angle value can be seen on
the engraved scale on the joint.

Place the stop screw in one of the
threads, so that the desired flexion
or extension can be achieved. Now
tighten the screw again.
5.
Flexion and extension can be adjusted
in increments of 15°.
6.
Unscrew the second stop screw and
repeat the process.
7.
Tighten this second stop screw again
in order to finish the adjustment of the
joint.
8.
Now push the black joint cover back
over the ring of the joint, covering the
screws completely.
TRI-Flex-Joint
The TRI-Flex joint is available as a left or
right joint. The joints are marked with the
letter "L" or the letter "R". They may only
be installed on the indicated side, since
otherwise flexion will not be limited. The
TRI-Flex joint is limited to a maximum
flexion of 70°. Extension is not limited.
Adjusting the Length
of the Lateral Bars
Due to the Click & Lock closure it is possible
to adjust the length of the joint in relation
to the pelvic panel.
1.
To adjust the length of the joint, insert
the bar of the joint (TRI-Flex or ROM-
Flex) into the open Click & Lock closure.
2.
It is absolutely mandatory to pay heed
to the maximum extension length.
