Before honing, clean the nose of all fat and meat residue.
The blade must be honed every day with a knife sharp-
ener or a stone.
With the motor running, hold the flat side of the whetstone
against the flat side of the blade. Move the whetstone
back and forth.

Use only food grade (FDA approved) lubricants, e.g.
TURBO LUBE GREASE (art. no. 60000078), TURBO
LUBE SPRAY (art. no. 60000077).
To fill the grease cup, press in the button. Insert the grease
gun into the nipple on the grease cup, and press strongly
to charge it with grease. Stop when the button has moved
up. Press the grease button at regular intervals and after
cleaning and connecting the nose.
