Operation

•
When connecting the hydraulic system, make sure that the connecting hoses have no friction points
and that they do not hook into protruding edges during the lifting and lowering movement and could
therefore break off.
•
The supply values must be maintained to ensure that the unit functions correctly and reliably.
•
On all units supplied without a rotator, a hydraulic hose with dummy plugs is connected to port "B"
(return flow) of the valve block.
•
By means of this hose the pressurised hydraulic oil, which is still in the cylinder, can be drained into a
container.
•
Remove the blind plug only above the tank! The hose can then be unscrewed so that the hydraulic
connections can be realised.
It is pointed out again that to avoid faults and malfunctions, the correct connection of the hydraulic hoses
must be checked before each start-up of the machine!
5 Operation
•
- The "open" and "close" functions are actuated by the valve control levers attached to the truck loading crane.
•
- The "open" and "close" functions are performed as long as the valve control levers are actuated
•
- The turning of the flange clamp with the turning motor must be carried out very carefully, otherwise the load may be
ejected
•
- The valve control lever equipped with a spring return must not be moved to its zero position with a jerk, as this will
build up pressure surges in the hydraulic circuit which may reduce the clamping force of the unit!
•
- The optimum holding or clamping force is obtained by holding the control lever in the closed position for two
seconds after closing the tongs
•
- In order to achieve an even load on the tool, it must always be placed in the middle of the grab goods (stone packs)
•
- When loading sensitive grab goods, the holding force of the device can be reduced by means of a pressure relief
valve
•
- Avoid jerky movements when the machine is loaded.
•
Carefully place the grab goods (building material packages) down again after transport
