5 Adjustments
5.1

Adjustment of the gripping range

•
The gripping range must be adjusted accordingly to the product
dimensions.
•
For this the device must be placed on the floor.
•
Remove wing nut
•
Adjust gripping range accordingly and secure again with wing nut.
Caution while adjustment work. There is danger of injuring the hands!
Use safety gloves! →

Operation

•
Connect the device to the hoisting device/carrier as described in chapter "Installation of the lifting eye".
•
Move the device to the material to be gripped.
•
Position the device centrally in the gripping good (cable channel) and lower it.
•
The device can now be lifted with the gripping good (cable channel). It must be ensured that the rubber
grippers are in full contact with the gripping surfaces of the gripping good! Fig. 1
•
The device opens automatically when the gripping good is set down.
