4. Insert the sealing cone (see also Fig. 7; Pos. 2) in the
pressure sensor mount of the adapter (Pos. 3).
5. Screw the pressure sensor (Pos. 1) into the pressure
sensor mount of the adapter.

6. Tighten pressure sensor at hexagon nut of adapter
(see also Fig. 8). Tightening torque: 20 ±2 Nm.

4.� �onnecting adapter
1. Clamp the injectors.

2. Select the appropriate adapter nut (Pos. 2).
3. Screw the adapter nut onto the adapter (Pos. 1)and
tighten.
4. Connect the adapter with pressure sensor to the
high-pressure inlet of the injector (Pos. 3).
Tightening torque 25 – 30 Nm.
5. Connect the test pressure line/high-pressure hose to
the adapter. Tightening torque: 25 – 30 Nm.

Connection of the injectors is described in the oper-
ating instructions for the CRI tester set.
6. Make the injector hydraulic and electrical connections.
4.4 �onnecting pressure sensor

When connecting the pressure sensor to the CRI trig-
ger electronics, take care to comply with the channel
assignment (injector A to channel A).

Connect the pressure sensor by way of the connect-
ing cable 1 684 462 557 to the connection sockets
for the pressure sensor at the trigger unit (refer to
Fig. 2, Pos. 3).
