The pressure sensor 1 687 231 904 is fitted upstream
of the high-pressure inlet of the injector using the
adapter 1 685 720 306 for passenger vehicle injec-
tors or the adapter 1 685 720 308 for commercial
vehicle injectors. The pressure sensor is connected to
the trigger electronics by way of the connecting cable
1 684 462 557.

4. Preparation for testing
4.1 Fitting and connecting ��� tester set

Fitting and connection of the clamping device as well
as connection of the CRI 800 trigger electronics are
described in the operating instructions for the cor-
responding CRI tester set.
1. Fit and connect the clamping device of the injector
tester set on the EPS.
2. Electrically connect the CRI 800 trigger electronics.
3. Connect the CRI 800 trigger electronics via a USB
connecting cable to a vacant USB connection on the
EPS PC.
4.2 Fitting pressure sensor

When screwing the pressure sensor in or out, apply the
adjustable wrench only on the hexagon nut (wrench
size = 19 mm) of the adapter, (see also Fig. 8). Tighten-
ing or loosening the pressure sensor at the upper hexa-
gon nut can result in failure of the pressure sensor.
1. If it is already fitted in an adapter, remove the pres-
sure sensor from the adapter.
2. Take the sealing cone out of the adapter.
3. Clean the sealing surface in the pressure sensor
mount of the adapter and at the pressure sensor.
