6.2 Supported operating systems
INFORMATION
Please also note the operating systems supported by the Ottobock software.
The following 32-bit operating systems are supported:
• Microsoft Windows 7, SP1 or higher, all editions except Microsoft Windows 7 Starter
• Microsoft Windows 8
• Microsoft Windows 10
The following 64-bit operating systems are supported:
• Microsoft Windows 7, SP1 or higher, all editions except Microsoft Windows 7 Starter
• Microsoft Windows 8
• Microsoft Windows 10
INFORMATION
Please note that the latest USB driver version must always be installed for the Bluetooth connec­
tion via the 60X5 BionicLink PC. You can download the latest driver version from the following
site: http://ottobock.com/en/datastation.

7 Driver software installation

7.1 Installation in Windows 7
Close all open applications.
1) Insert the enclosed CD into the CD or DVD drive.
2) In the dialogue window, select the option Run Setup.exe.
3) Follow the next instructions of the installation wizard.
INFORMATION: If the information window that references a driver software publisher
that cannot be verified appears, the installation can still be continued regardless. To
do so, click the corresponding option in the dialogue window.
4) Follow the next instructions of the installation wizard.
5) When the dialogue window informing you that the driver has been installed successfully
appears, click the Finish button.
6) Connect the BionicLink PC plug to the USB socket on the computer.
→ The green LED on the 60X5 BionicLink PC is illuminated.
7.2 Installation in Windows 8
Close all open applications.
1) Insert the enclosed CD into the CD or DVD drive.
2) Open "Computer" with the key combination [Windows logo key
3) Right-click the CD drive in the right-handwindow.
4) Left-click the menu item "Install or run program".
→ Follow the next instructions of the installation wizard.
INFORMATION: When the dialogue window stating that "Otto Bock Healthcare
Products GmbH" is the publisher of the software appears, continue the installation by
clicking the corresponding button.
1) Follow the next instructions of the installation wizard.
2) When the dialogue window informing you that the driver has been installed successfully
appears, click the Finish button.
3) Connect the BionicLink PC plug to the USB socket on the computer.
→ The green LED on the 60X5 BionicLink PC is illuminated.
