Sicherheits- und Montagehinweise

Die DIN, VDE sowie Vorschriften der Berufsgenossen schaften und die
Landesbauordnung sind zwingend zu beachten (Auswahl VDE 0100, VDE
0833, VDE 0800, BGV).
Alle Arbeiten an netzspannungsführenden Bauteilen dürfen nur durch eine
Elektrofachkraft durchgeführt werden.
Bei allen Arbeiten an der Anlage ist die Netzspannung allpolig
abzu schalten. Die Anlage ist gegen unbeabsichtigtes Wiedereinschalten
abzusichern. Für die Netzzuleitung ist eine separate und gekennzeichnete
Vorsicherung vorzusehen.
Alle Leitungen außer der Netzzuleitung und gekennzeichneten 230 V AC
Antriebsleitungen führen 24 V DC, d.h. diese Leitungen sind nicht mit
Starkstromleitungen zu verlegen (VDE-Vorschriften beachten).
Die Leitungslängen und Leitungsquerschnitte sind gemäß der technischen
Angaben auszuführen.
Bei Installation des Widerstands sind die Anschlussdrähte so zu kürzen
und verlegen das sie keinen Kurzschluss verursachen können.
Nach der Installation der Tandem-Folgesteuerung sind alle Funktionen zu
überprüfen.

Funktionsbeschreibung

Die Tandem-Folgesteuerung FTA 3.1 ermöglicht den Betrieb von
• einem Antrieb und einer Verriegelung als Folgesteuerung
• zwei Antrieben im Tandembetrieb
• zwei Antrieben und einer Verriegelung als Folge-Tandemsteuerung
• zwei Antrieben und einer Verriegelung als Folge-Folgesteuerung.
Die Auswahl der Funktionsart erfolgt durch die Steckbrücken 4-6.
Bei Ansteuerung in AUF-Richtung öffnet zuerst die Verriegelung.
Nachdem die Verriegelung in Endstellung gefahren ist und abgeschaltet
hat, öffnen die Antriebe.
Bei Ansteuerung in ZU-Richtung schließen zuerst die Antriebe. Nach
dem Abschalten schließt die Verriegelung und der Vorgang ist beendet.
Ein Ausgang wird als abgeschaltet erkannt, wenn der Strom unter
50 mA liegt. Der Ruhestrom der Antriebe darf max. 35 mA betragen.
Für Antriebe mit einem Leerlaufstrom unter 50 mA muss am Ausgang
ein 470R Widerstand geklemmt werden.
Wenn die Verriegelung beim Öffnen des Fensters nicht startet oder
ein Leitungsbruch im Verriegelungskreis besteht, werden die Motoren
nicht angesteuert. Bei Tandembetrieb werden die Antriebe nicht auf
Gleichlauf überprüft und Laufdifferenzen werden nicht erkannt. Wenn
der erste Antrieb abschaltet, bleibt der zweite mit einer Zeitverzögerung
von ca. 3 Sek. stehen.
Die gelbe LED auf der FTA 3.1 leuchtet auf wenn:
• Im Folgebetrieb die Richtung «Auf» der Verriegelung nicht funktioniert
• Im Tandembetrieb nur ein Antrieb funktioniert

Safety and installation information

The observance of applicable standards and government safety
organisation regulations as well as of the provisions of your local power
company is mandatory.
Any work on live components may only be performed by a trained
electrician.
When working on the control system, disconnect all poles of the mains
supply by an isolating link. This link must be marked accordingly. The
installation must be protected against accidental actuation. For mains
supply a separate and marked pre-fuse has to be provided.
All wires, except the mains supply and marked 230 V AC drive lines,
conduct 24 V DC, that means these wires must not be laid together
with electric power lines (follow VDE or equivalent
regulations). All wire lengths and cross sections must correspond with
the technical specifications.
If the resistor musst be installed the connection cables of the resistor
muss be trimed so the can't touch other components to prevent a
short circuit. Check all functions after completing the tandem sequence
control successfully.

Functional description
FTA 3.1 tandem sequence control can be used to operate
• One drive and one locking in sequence operation.
• Two drives in tandem operation,
• Two drives and one locking in tandem sequence operation
• Two drives and one locking in sequence sequence operation.
The function mode is set using jumpers 4-6 as shown in the table.
When set to OPEN direction, the locking will open first.
When the locking has reached its end position and turned itself off, the
drives will open.
When set to CLOSE direction, the drives will close first. When the drive
is switched off, the locking closes and the process is completed.
An output is recognised as switched off when the current is below
50 mA. The quiescent current of the drives must not exceed 35 mA.
For drives with a no-load-current below 50 mA at output a resistance of
type 470R has to be installed.
If the locking does not engage when the window is opened or in the
event of a wire disruption in the locking circuit, the motors will not be
activated. In tandem operation mode the drives won't be checked for
synchronized movement and thus term difference won't be noticed.
Once the first drive stops, the second one will stop within a 3 sec.
delay.
The yellow LED of the FTA 3.1 will turn on if:
• If in sequential operation the open command of the locking ins't
working
• If in tandem operation just one of the drives is working
(safety shut down after 3 seconds)
