Database Search on the CMP-2001

After having created a database on your USB device with the Database Builder, you can connect the data
carrier to the CMP-2001 and search through your music library quickly and efficiently.

Call the system settings with the TIME button and select one of the search criteria from the first menu
item "Playlist". You can search by title name, artist, album or genre. Exit the system settings.

In order to search the USB device's database, first activate the folder selection mode with the FOLDER
[ ] button (control LED lights).

If you have selected the search criterion Artist in the system settings for example, now all artists found
in the database will be displayed in alphabetical order. Now select the desired artist by:
• either keeping the TRACK [
• or keeping the TRACK [

Press the FOLDER [
you can browse the artist's titles by:
• either turning the TRACK [
• or keeping the TRACK [

Troubleshooting

If the use of the software causes problems, a user account control (UAC) limitation may likely be the cause.
When trying to run the program, a UAC query pops up. Enter your admin password and confirm with "Yes".

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

We recommend a frequent cleaning of the device. Please use a soft lint-free and moistened cloth. Never use
alcohol or solvents!
There are no serviceable parts inside the device. Maintenance and service operations are only to be carried
out by authorized dealers.
Should you need any spare parts, please use genuine parts. Should you have further questions, please
contact your dealer.
