SET-UP

Installation

Install the unit on a plane surface or in your rack. For 19" (483 mm) rack installation, 2 units are required.
You can fix each unit with four screws M6 in the rack. The player mechanism unit must be operated in a
horizontal position. The control unit may be installed in a tilted position for better handling. When choosing
the installation spot make sure that there is enough space around the units for ventilation or that heated air
from the rack can be passed on to improve heat radiation. Steady overheating will damage the units.

Connections

Prior to connecting or changing existing connections switch off the CMP-2001.

Connect subsequent units with line level inputs (e.g. amplifier or mixer) to the balanced XLR output or
unbalanced RCA output on the rear. Make sure that the right/left occupation is the same at the devices.

Use the supplied power cable to connect the player to the mains (100-240 V, 50/60 Hz).

Remote Control

The remote control is supplied with a battery inserted. An insulating plastic
between the battery and the battery contacts prevents the battery from being
discharged during storage. Prior to the first operation remove the foil from the
battery support on the rear side of the remote control. Otherwise operation of
the remote control is not possible.

If the range of the remote control decreases (6 meters as a maximum), replace the battery. For this
purpose, on the rear side of the remote control press the small bar with the groove to the right and at
the same time remove the battery support.

If the device is not used for a longer period, please remove the battery to prevent damage in case of
battery leakage.
When mounted at within
15° of the vertical plane,
the unit will work
normally. If it is tilted
excessively, CDs may
not be loaded or ejected
properly.
