Step 3:
Assembly of the pedal tubes (9) and connection tubes (5).
1. Put the left pedal tube (9L) at the left connection tube (5L) and
adjust the holes in the tubes so that they are aligned. Push the
bolt M8x30 (22) through the holes and tighten the pedal tube
(9L) at connection tube (5L) with washer 8//16 (33) and nut (38)
firmly.
2. Place the preassembled unit of the left pedal tube (9L) and left
connection tube (5L) at the left hand side of the main frame (1).
(Note: Right and Left is specified as viewed standing on the
machine during training.) Put one wave washer 21//25 (36) and
the left connecting tube (5L) onto the left holder of support (2).
Put on the screw M8x20 (16) a spring washer (27) and a washer
8//32 (31) and tighten it firmly.
3. Put the left pedal tube (9L) onto the pedal tube support (7) and
adjust the holes in the tubes so that they are aligned. Push the
bolt M12x125 (44) through the holes and tighten the left pedal
tube (9L) at pedal tube support (7) with washers 12//24 (45) and
nut (46) firmly. Then put a screw cap for M12 (68) onto the nut
(46).
4. Put one pedal (65) onto the left pedal tube (9L). Adjust the holes
in the parts so that they are aligned. Push the screws M6x15
(23) from above through the holes and tighten firmly.
Step 4:
Assembly of pulse grip (11) and handgrips (6) at connection
tubes (5).
1. Put the handgrips (6L+6R) onto the connection tubes (5L+5R)
and adjust the holes in the tubes so that they are aligned. (Note:
the handgrips must be aligned after assembly so that the upper
ends are inclined outwards (away from the support (2)).
2. Push the bolt M8x16 (17) through the holes and tighten the
handgrips (6) with curved washers 8//20 (35) and spring washer
(27) firmly.
3. Place the pulse grip (11) to the support (2) and push the pulse
cable (59) through the hole of support (2) into inner top position.
Put the pulse grip (11) against the support (2) so that the holes
are aligned. Push a spring washer (27) and a washer (35) onto
each screw (17) and push them through the holes and tighten
the pulse grip (11) firmly.
5. Install the right pedal tube (9R) incl. all additionally required parts
on the right hand side of the machine as described in 1.– 4.
6. Place the caster onto the slide ways and turn the construction
by hand 3-4 times and then tighten the screws (17) of support
(22) as mentioned in Step 2 firmly. Finally push the support
cover into the right position.
