5.1 Mounting of the screwed insert
Required tools and materials:
>
710D4 torque wrench, cap screw
1) Screw in the screwed insert completely into the thread of the lamination
anchor.
2) Tighten the cap screw from the threaded clamping using the torque
wrench (mounting torque: 10 Nm).
5.2 Laminating a Transfemoral Socket
Required tools and materials:
>
711S4* bending iron, 99B81 PVA bag, 623T3 Perlon stockinette, 616B1
carbon fibre cloth strap, 616G6 Dacron felt, 616G12 carbon fibre cloth,
616G15 carbon fibre stockinette, 617H119 Orthocryl lamination resin

1) Mount a screwed insert according to chapter "Mounting of the screwed
insert" (see Page 16).
2) Pull a soaked PVA bag over the model.
3) Apply one layer of Dacron felt and thin out the fibres along the edge.
4) Pull two layers of Perlon stockinette over the model.
5) Place three layers of carbon fibre cloth (e.g. 15 cm x 15 cm), offset on
the distal end of the model.
6) Pull two layers of Perlon stockinette over the model.
7) Pull a soaked PVA bag over the model.
8) Perform the casting process with Orthocryl.
9) Once the lamination resin has cured, remove the PVA bag.
10) INFORMATION: Align an anchor arm that has been angled at the
factory in the posterior direction.
Bring the lamination anchor arms in the correct a - p and m - l position.
Never align the threaded clamping in the anterior or posterior direction.
11) Place the lamination anchor at the socket end as required for proper
alignment and set.
12) Optional: Adapt the anchor arms of the lamination anchor to the model
with a bending iron.
13) Apply the lamination dummy according to the instructions in the chapter
headed "Installing the lamination dummy" (Installing the Lamination
