Recommended safety distances between portable and mobile RF telecommuni-
cations devices and the AirSeal® i.F.S.
The AirSeal® i.F.S. is intended for use in an electromagnetic environment where
HF interferences are controlled. The user/operator of the AirSeal® i.F.S. can con-
tribute to lowering electromagnetic emissions by complying with the mini-
mum distance between portable and mobile HF telecommunications devices
(transmitters) and the AirSeal® i.F.S. - depending on the output power of the
communication device listed below.

The safety distance d in meters [m] for transmitters with a max. rated output not
listed in the table above can be calculated by applying the corresponding formula
in the respective column. P is the max. rated output of the transmitter in watts
[W] according to the information provided by the manufacturer of the transmit-
ter.
Note 1: The higher frequency range applies to 80 and 800 MHz.
Note 2: These guidelines are probably not realizable in all cases. The distribution
and spread of electromagnetic quantities differs depending on the absorption
and reflection of buildings, objects, and people.
