Kit assembly
Disconnect the unit from power supply.
Remove the outdoor unit cover by
unscrewing the 4 fixing screws.
Remove the outdoor unit side panel by
unscrewing the 4 fixing screws.

Install the crankcase heater (ref.
winding it around the compressor base;
for ease of installation, lift the
compressor sound-proof protection by
using the most suitable spring among the
3 springs (ref.
) supplied.
For cable connection refer to Table 2.
Insert the temperature sensor (ref.
into the corresponding slot A on the
battery on the manifold side.
Pull the crankcase heater electric cables
to the control panel and secure them by
means of the nylon strips (ref.
IMPORTANT: do not secure the cable
onto the discharge pipe.
Put the side panel back in place and fix it
with the corresponding screws.
Insert the card fixing clips (ref.
the corresponding slots.
Insert and fix the electronic card (ref.
onto the clips as indicated:
in fig "A" for 38GL / 38YY
in fig "B" for 38GL2M
in fig "B" for 38GL3M
in fig "C" for 38GL4M.
Connect the temperature sensor electric
cables to the "sensor" terminals of the
"HPC" electronic board.
Refer also to the wiring diagram of the
unit on which the kit will be installed.
Select the fan(s)motor(s)BLUE cable.
Disconnect it (them) and reconnect it
(them) at cable(s) BLUE connected to the
pin "CN" of the board "HPC", as showed
in the table of the enclosed wiring
diagram.
Select the fan(s) motor(s)BLACK cable.
Disconnect it (them) and reconnect it
(them) at cable(s) BLACK/GRAY ,
connected to the pin "L-OUT" of the board
"HPC", as showed in the table of the
enclosed wiring diagram. Fig. "D".
If necessary, use the cables supplied with
the unit to make all other connections as
indicated in the table of the enclosed
wiring diagram. ( See Tab. 3)

Montaggio del kit
Scollegare il climatizzatore dalla rete di
alimentazione elettrica.
Togliere il coperchio dell'unità esterna
rimuovendo le 4 viti di fissaggio.
Togliere il pannello laterale rimuovendo
le 4 viti di fissaggio.

Installare il riscaldatore del carter (rif.
avvolgendolo alla base del compressore,
) by
eventualmente sollevando la protezione
insonorizzante del compressore per
facilitare l'operazione, utilizzando una
delle 3 molle (rif.
adeguata, tra quelle fornite a corredo.
Per collegare i cavi, fare riferimento alla
Tab. 2.
Inserire il sensore temperatura (rif.
)
nell'apposito pozzetto
batteria dal lato collettori.
Far passare i cavi elettrici del riscaldatore
del carter e del sensore temperatura, fino
al quadro elettrico e fissarli con le fascette
).

).
IMPORTANTE: non fissare i suddetti
cavi sulla tubazione di mandata.
Rimontare il pannello laterale con le
relative viti.

Inserire le clips fissa-scheda (rif.
nelle apposite fessure.

Inserire e fissare la scheda elettronica

Collegare i cavi elettrici del sensore
temperatura ai terminali "sensor" della
scheda elettronica "HPC".
Fare riferimento anche allo schema
elettrico dell'unità su cui si installa il
kit.
Individuare il cavo BLU del motore(i) del
ventilatore(i).
Scollegare il cavo(i) e ricollegarlo(i) al
cavo BLU collegato al pin "CN" della
scheda elettronica "HPC" secondo la
tabella dello schema elettrico allegato.
Individuare il cavo NERO del motore(i) del
ventilatore(i).
Staccare il cavo (o i cavi) e ricollegarlo
(ricollegarli) al cavo NERO/GRIGIO
collegato al pin "L-OUT" della scheda
elettronica "HPC" secondo la tabella dello
schema elettrico allegato, Fig. "D".
Utilizzando, all'occorrenza, i cavi forniti a
corredo, effettuare i collegamenti
rimanenti secondo la tabella dello schema
elettrico allegato (Tab. 3).
