ENGINE OIL CHANGE

Follow the procedure below.
• Start the engine and bring it to the
operating temperature (70÷80 °C)
• Turn off the engine and remove the
ignition key.
• Let the engine cool down adequately
to avoid being burnt.
• Prepare a container of appropriate
capacity. (As for the oil quantity, see
"Technical data".)
• Unscrew the load plug (M).
• Unscrew the exhaust plug (Q) and let
all the oil flow into the container.
• Replace the gasket and screw plug
(Q) back into place.
Lock the plug to a torque of 55 Nm.
• Pour the new oil until it reaches the
correct level on the dipstick. (See
"Engine oil level control")
• Screw again the load plug (M).
• Start the engine and bring it to the
operating temperature (70÷80 °C).
Check for any oil leaks.
• Turn off the engine and check the oil
level. (See "Engine oil level control")
