Front – Functions
1. POWER
Before connecting the power lead to the socket
please ensure that all connections have been
correctly carried out. Then insert the mains plug into
the socket. Press the POWER button on the front
of the device to switch it on. When the device is
switched on, other electronic equipment on the same
power circuit may suffer from interference due to a
brief power surge. In this case the device should be
connected to a power socket on a different circuit.
2. OPEN/CLOSE
In DVD mode the function of this button is to open
and close the disc drawer. In tuner mode this button
is used to switch between PRE and TUNING.
3. II PLAY/PAUSE/AUTO
In DVD mode the function of this button is to start or
pause playback.
In tuner mode this button can be pressed to start the
automatic search function.
4. STOP/MEMO
In DVD mode the function of this button is to stop
playback.
In tuner mode this button is used to store a station.
Rear - Functions
1. AERIAL
Aerial socket for FM room aerial and AM loop aerial.
2. AUX IN
Input socket for two additional music devices (1 + 2).
3. AUDIO OUT
Socket for the two right-hand and left-hand channel
outputs as well as for the subwoofer output.
4. VIDEO OUTPUT
In the setup menu S-VIDEO must be selected as the
VIDEO OUTPUT setting.
5. S-VIDEO OUTPUT
6. REAR
Connection socket for the left-hand and right-hand
surround loudspeaker.

5. PAUSE/PRE/TUN
In DVD mode the function of this button is to inter-
rupt playback.
In tuner mode this button is used to select the preset
or tuning mode.
6. I PREV/DOWN
In DVD mode the function of this button is to jump to
the previous track. In tuner mode this button is used
to perform a (reverse) station search.
7. I NEXT/UP
In DVD mode this button can be pressed to jump
to the next track. In tuner mode the function of this
button is to perform a (forward) station search (de-
pending on the PRE/ TUN- mode, see the section on
radio operation).
8. INPUT SIGNAL SOURCE
With the help of this button you can select a suitable
input signal. (Note: The selected input corresponds
to the selected input socket on the rear of the de-
vice.)
9. VOLUME
With this control you can regulate the volume of the
device. All six channels are adjusted at the same time.
7. FRONT/MAIN
Connection socket for the left-hand and right-hand
front/main loudspeaker.
8. CENTER/SUBWOOFER
Connection socket for centre and subwoofer
loudspeakers.
9. COAXIAL DIGITAL AUDIO OUTPUT
10. 230 V~50 Hz
This device is supplied with an AC power cable. It is
essential that the mains plug is dry when it is inserted
into the socket. The cable must not be under too
much tension. Furthermore, the cable should not be
walked on.
