INSTALLINg THE QR USINg THE ISOfIX SySTEM AND TOP TETHER
• Fasten the two centring clips into the Isofix fasteners of the vehicle, situated between the
backrest and the seat base (fig.1).
• Position the QR facing forwards on the rear seat opposite the Isofix fasteners (fig.2).
• Pull the handle on the front part of the QR outwards (A) and turn it to the right (B), to
extend the connectors as far as possible (fig.3).
• Press until both connectors are firmly secure in the fasteners of the vehicle.
The fasteners will click when they are correctly fastened (fig.4).
• With correct installation a green signal will appear on the outer part of both connectors
(fig.5).
• Lastly, adjust the gap between the safety seat and the backrest of the vehicle by pulling
the handle outwards and turning it to the left (fig.6).
Fitting the Top Tether (illustrations 7-10)
• Hook the karabiner of the Top Tether (on the adjuster side) onto the ring on the rear part
of the backrest (fig.7) and the other end onto the fastening point of the vehicle (fig.8).
NOTE: Consult the vehicle instruction manual to locate the Top Tether ring.
• Tighten the Top Tether (fig.9) until the red tab on the tightener disappears (fig.10).
Unfastening the QR seat with Top Tether (illustrations 11-15)
• Undo the Top Tether by loosening the adjuster (fig.11) and unhooking the karabiner
from the ring on the back of the QR seat (fig.12).
• Pull the front handle outwards (fig.13) and turn it to the right to make a gap between the
safety seat and the backrest of the vehicle.
• To release the Isofix connectors, pull the front lever (fig.14) until it clicks indicating that
they are released. A red signal will appear on both connectors (fig.15).
NOTE: It is advisable to leave the Top Tether installed in the car to make it easier to install
the seat on future occasions.
INSTALLINg THE QR USINg THE THREE-POINT SEAT BELT Of THE VEHICLE
• Place the safety seat on the front or rear seat of the car.
• Pass the abdominal belt through the belt guides on both sides (fig.16), fasten the clasp
and tighten by pulling the diagonal belt.
• Then pull the diagonal part passing it through the side clip (fig.17).
• Close the clip and fasten the safety catch (fig.18).
• Check the seat belt is fitted correctly (fig.19).
