The effective inner resistance of the ground conductor current measuring device may
be a maximum of 5 . (With higher resistances, measures must be taken to prevent
the occurrence of hazardous contact voltages.)
The measuring range must comprise at least the values from 0.25 mA to 19 mA.
The inspection facility must assess the measured current to be an effective value re-
gardless of the waveform.
The effective inner resistance of the contact current measurement instrument must be
1 k to 2 k.
If the current test circuit is accidentally connected to a voltage up to 120% of the nom-
inal grid voltage, the user must not be endangered and the test circuit must not be
damaged.
The inspection facility must assess the measured current to be an effective value re-
gardless of the waveform.
