Speed Warning Settings

The setting range for the warning signal
when the warning value set is exceeded
depends on the full-scale value of the
instrument installed. Therefore the follow-
ing information is given as a percentage
of the full-scale value:
Setting range vehicle speed:
between 40 % and 100 %
(except for 180 km/h:
between 33 % and 72 %)
Setting range engine speed:
between 25 % and 100 %

The Original Recording
Chart (Figure II)
The tachograph chart (record sheet)
of the EEC tachograph 1318 is driver-
related:
If the driver changes vehicles within his
working day he must take his tachograph
chart with him. The vehicle change must
be manually entered on the rear of the
tachograph chart.
There are two types of recordings on the
tachograph chart (= record sheet): the
manual entries in the centre field (5) and
the automatic (instantaneous) tachog-
raph recordings.
The "pear-shaped" opening (6) guaran-
tees correct insertion of the tachograph
chart, provided the clock is correctly set
(1).
