Starting

When working on the device, switch the engine off.

Switch the fuel tap (20-8) to either the integral tank or, when fitted, the external fuel supply sys-
tem.

Turn the main switch (22-11) to the "I" position
5.6.2.
Electrical start-up
If the engine does not fire within 5 seconds, release the main switch and wait at least 10 seconds
If the electric starter is run for longer than 5 seconds this will lead to the starter overheating and

There is no need to set the choke since this is operated automatically.

Turn the main switch to the "Start" position and hold it there until the engine fires.

Switch the connected consumers on.

Handstart
Allow the starter cord to run back slowly so that the starter is not damaged!

Pull the starter cord lightly until you feel resistance.
