5.6.1.

Starting

• Keep the device covers closed.
• When working on the device, switch the engine off.

Before starting the power generator, perform the tests that must be done before putting into

- Engine oil level

- Fuel level

- Correct connection of the consumers
• Switch the fuel tap (20-8) to either the integral tank or, when fitted, the external fuel supply sys-
tem.

5.6.2.

Electrical start-up

If the engine does not fire within 5 seconds, release the main switch and wait at least 10 seconds
If the electric starter is run for longer than 5 seconds this will lead to the starter overheating and
• There is no need to set the choke since this is operated automatically.
• Turn the main switch to the "Start" position and hold it there until the engine fires.
• Switch the connected consumers on.

Handstart

Allow the starter cord to run back slowly so that the starter is not damaged!
• There is no need to set the choke since this is operated automatically.
• Pull the starter cord lightly until you feel resistance.
