During all work on the power generator do not wear long, loose hair, loose clothing or jewel-

lery including rings. There is a risk of injury by body parts getting caught or pulled in!
Use the personal protective equipment, at least hearing protection, protective gloves and safe-

ty footwear which are necessary or which are required by supplementary regulations!
Get familiar with the site and the operation of the fire extinguishing equipment! Also instruct
I
the deployed personnel!
Comply with the local fire detection and fire-fighting specifications!

Operation of the power generator
Only operate the power generator outdoors in compliance with the safety clearances as descri-
I
bed in <Operation> in the operating instructions!
Do not operate the power generator in fire-risk or explosive environments!

An installation in vehicles or facilities requires the prior, written approval from the manufactu-
I
rer!
Operate the power generator only when all safeguards and safety-related equipment such as
I
detachable safeguards, EMERGENCY STOP devices, sound insulation or extraction equipment is
present and functional!
Check the power generator at regular intervals for visible signs of damage and defects!

Shut down the power generator if there are any faults or irregularities. Secure the power gene-
I
rator against renewed start-up!
Eliminate faults immediately!

Perform power on and off operations according to the operating instructions!
I
Start the power generator without load!
I
Before switching on/starting the power generator, make sure that no one could be endangered
I
by the start-up of the machine.
I
Periodically monitor the status indicators!

Do not turn off the extraction and ventilation equipment when the power generator is running.
Never remove any equipment!

Fill the power generator only when the engine is at a standstill!

Fill the power generator only when it is in a cooled-off state!
