Diagnostics for minor faults
The generating set...
Does not start
Stops
Does not function normally
(noise, smoke, etc.)
Does not supply electrical
current
7.3
Replace the protective fuses
Observe the technical specifications of the fuses.
Using an incorrect fuse may result in damage to the generating set.
IMPORTANT
The fuses must be replaced in the event of faults caused by overcurrent. Before replacing the fuses, always identify the cause of
the fault and the overcurrent (consult one of our agents).
1.
Turn the key (A3) to the "OFF" position: the generating set stops.
2.
Unscrew the fuse holder (A19) and visually check the condition of the two fuses.
3.
Replace any blown fuses with a new fuse with the same technical specifications.
4.
Screw the two fuse holders back in.

8 Technical specifications

8.1
Operating conditions
The stated outputs of the generating sets are obtained under the reference conditions outlined in ISO 8528-1(2005):
Total barometric pressure: 100 kPa - Ambient air temperature: 25°C (298 K) - Relative humidity: 30%.
Generating set performance is reduced by approximately 4% for every additional 10° C and/or approximately 1% for every
additional 100m in altitude. Generating sets can only operate while stationary.
8.2
Capacity of the generating set
Before connecting and operating the generating set, calculate the electrical power required by the devices to be used (in watts)*. To
ensure optimal operation, the total wattage of devices used at the same time must be:
- greater than 60% of the generating set's rated load (risk of overload);
- less than the generating set's rated load during continuous operation (risk of overload).
If the generating set is run under or over its rated load frequently or for long periods of time, it can start to wear very quickly.
Damage caused in this way will not be covered by the warranty.
*This load is usually indicated in the technical specifications or on the device manufacturer's plate. Some devices require a higher
load when starting. This minimum required power must not exceed the generating set's maximum power.
Check that:
The checks before starting have been
performed.
YES
The battery is correctly connected and
charged.
YES
The fuel tap is open.
YES
The devices to be used have not been
connected prior to starting.

indicator lights come on).
YES
The oil level is correct.
YES
The fuel level is correct.
YES
Maintenance has been correctly
performed on the generating set
components.
YES
Have the generating set checked by
one of our agents.
