Commissioning and Operation

7.1

Making presettings

The following presettings have to be made:

Selecting the valve supply
W

Setting diagnostic messages

All of these settings are made using the switches beneath
fittings A and B.
Proceed as follows for all of the presettings:
1. Remove the fitting.
2. Adjust the corresponding setting as described below.
3. Screw the fitting back in (0.6 + 0.2 Nm). Pay attention that
the sealing rings are positioned correctly.
7.1.1 Setting diagnostic messages
The S1 mode switch used to set the diagnostic messages is
located under the PG fitting A.
The system is SERCOS III conform on delivery.

Activate or deactivate the valve diagnostic message to the
master with the switch S1.1.
The modified switch position will only be activated after a
new "Power-on".
The queued diagnoses are shown on the LEDs even if the
diagnostic message is turned off on the master.
