Make sure that the system is not under voltage or
pressure.
O
Observe the stipulated precautionary measures when
working with ESD-sensitive assemblies.
To exchange the bus coupler:
1. Disconnect the electrical connections from the bus coupler
(2).
2. Loosen the bus coupler (2) (2 hexagon socket head screws
DIN 912 – M4 (1), wrench size 3).
3. Remove the bus coupler (2) from the EP end plate (4).
4. Push the new bus coupler (2) onto the EP end plate (4).
5. Make sure that the seal (3) is fitted correctly.
6. Screw down the bus coupler (2) (2 hexagon socket head
screws DIN 912 – M4 (1) each, wrench size 3). Tightening
torque 3.0 + 0.5 Nm.
7. Make all the presettings on the new bus coupler (2) (see
"Making presettings" on page 69).
8. Reestablish the connections.
9. Check the configuration and adjust it if necessary (see
"Configuring the bus coupler network" on page 76).
