9. Replacement of IO 403

• The last module in the row must be terminated by
a terminator.
See illustration.
• Switch off the power supply to the CU 401.
• Turn the locking screw to "slide position".
Use a 6 mm screwdriver for slotted screws.
Slide position
• Push the modules, which are placed next to the IO 403 and
have contact via module bus, away from the IO 403
(approx. 15 mm to each side).
• Remove the terminals and turn the locking screw to
position "unlocked".
Locked
• Remove the IO 403 module from the DIN rail by lifting it out
at the bottom.
