7. Operating Instructions

Regulating the grind
Note. These operations must be performed with the appliance
off.
The machine may be adjusted for different grindings (from fine
to course) via a screw (4) as shown on the graded indicator
(18).
If the coffee is dispensed too slowly, the grind of the coffee
beans is too fine. Turn the ring nut (4) anticlockwise to obtain
a coarser grind (the numbers on the graduated indicator
increase: 2 - 3 - 4 - ...).
If the coffee is dispensed too quickly, the grind of the coffee
beans is too coarse. Turn the ring nut (4) clockwise to obtain
a finer grind (the numbers on the ring nut decrease: 4 - 3 - 2
- ...).
Ground Coffee
Position the coffee machine filter basket on the bracket (12)
and push home.
Pull the ground coffee distribution lever (9) to obtain one coffee
dose (if a one-dose conic filter is used) and let the lever return
automatically to its original position.
Obtain two doses of coffee if a double filter is used.
Position the filter basket under the tamper (7) and press the
coffee.
Regulation of the ground coffee dose
To regulate the ground coffee doses for each withdrawal,
after lifting the lid (5) of the coffee distributor, turn the dose
regulating screw (17).
To increase the amount of ground coffee turn anti-clockwise.
To decrease the amount of ground coffee turn clockwise.
