Keyboard and mouse

You must order the keyboard and mouse separately and they must be industry-compliant in accordance with EN / IEC
61000-6-2. Please also read the information on their connection in the instructions or manuals for your device.

Ejectable system components

The following media can also be displayed as "Safely Remove Hardware and Eject Media" by the task bar of the Windows
operating system:
● Drives classified as "Plug&Play" capable
● PC adapter modules, e.g. network adapters
Depending on the configuration of your system, the modules might be offered, but not under their device names, for
example, "SIMATIC Miniport CP1623 PCIe Adapter" is listed as "PowerPC Processor" or "PCI to PCI Bridge". Make sure
that when ejecting media or removing hardware that you have actually selected the item you want to eject.
If you have removed a network adapter accidentally using this function, it will be soon reinstalled automatically by the
operating system. During the time in which a network adapter is removed, communication using it is interrupted.

Authorizations for use for Windows Server 2012 R2

By default, a software package for Windows Server 2012 R2 contains 5 workstation licenses (5 CAL = Client Access
Licenses). Always ensure your are using the correct number of licenses. The "per server" licensing model with 5 workstation
licenses (CALs) is preset on your system.
If you would like to increase the number of workstation licenses or change the licensing model, refer to the help for
Windows Server 2012 R2. You can find information on this on the Internet at:Microsoft TechNet
(http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us)
