Tensioning the toothed belt
Information
1. Measure the axis-centre distance (6.50 m in our example)
2. Read the "un-stretched length" dimension from the table below (500 mm in our example).
3. Apply an adhesive strip to the appropriate area of the toothed belt.
4. Mark the adhesive strip at the right point (length before stretching).
5. Use the supplied pin to rotate the tensioning ring (1) and tighten the toothed belt to the "length after
stretching" specified in the table.
6. Secure the tensioning ring with the locking ring (2), then align the entire component parallel to the sliding
shutter, so it does not later scrape against the cover.
Axis-centre distance
0.90 to 1.99 m
2.00 to 3.99 m
4.00 to 5.99 m
6.00 to 7.50 m
«Symmetric» installations with supplementary driver
Both sliding shutters must be in the "open" position (at the end stop). Slide the front-facing piece (1) along the
driver and fix it with the securing bolt.
