WARNING
The engine and muffler will be
very hot after the engine has

Avoid touching the engine and
muffler while they are still hot
with any part of your body or
clothing during inspection or
repair.
1. Remove the muffler cover
screws, and then remove
the muffler cover.

2. Loosen the muffler cap bolt
and then remove the muf-
fler cap and muffler screen.

3. Use a flathead screw driver
to pry the spark arrester out
from the muffler.

4. Remove the spark arrester.

GRILLE DU SILENCIEUX ET
PARE-ÉTINCELLES
Le moteur et le silencieux sont
très chauds après que le moteur a
fonctionné.
Pendant les procédures d'inspec-
tion ou de réparation, évitez de
toucher le moteur et le silencieux
lorsqu'ils sont encore très chauds
avec n'importe quelle partie du
corps ou de vos vêtements.

1. Retirez la vis du couvercle de
silencieux, puis retirez le cou-
vercle du silencieux.
2. Desserrez le boulon du bouchon
du pot d'échappement puis reti-
rez le bouchon du pot d'échap-
pement et la grille du silencieux.

3. Utilisez un tournevis à tête
plate pour écarter le pare-étin-
celles du silencieux.
4. Déposez le pare-étincelles.
