Long term storage of your
machine will require some pre-
ventive procedures to guard
against deterioration.

DRAIN THE FUEL

1. Turn the engine switch to
"5" (STOP).

2. Remove the fuel tank cap
and the fuel filter. Extract
the fuel from the fuel tank
into an approved gasoline
container using a commer-
cially available hand siphon.
Then, install the fuel filter
and the fuel tank cap.
WARNING
Fuel is highly flammable and
poisonous.

Immediately wipe off spilled
fuel with a clean, dry, soft
cloth, since fuel may deterio-
rate painted surfaces or plastic
parts.

REMISAGE

Si vous remisez votre groupe élec-
trogène pendant une période pro-
longée, il faut prendre certaines
mesures préventives afin de le pro-
téger contre toute détérioration.

VIDANGEZ LE CARBURANT

1. Tournez le contacteur
moteur sur « 5 » (ARRÊT).

2. Retirez le bouchon du réservoir
à carburant et le filtre à carbu-
rant. Otez le carburant du
réservoir dans un récipient
adapté à l'essence, à l'aide
d'un siphon à main disponible
dans le commerce. Ensuite,
installez le filtre à carburant et
le bouchon du réservoir à car-
burant.
Le carburant est
inflammable et toxique. Lisez
attentivement les « INFORMA-
TIONS DE SÉCURITÉ » (voir
page 9).
Essuyez immédiatement l'essence
qui a coulé à l'aide d'un chiffon
propre, doux et sec parce que
l'essence peut détériorer les sur-
faces peintes ou les pièces en
plastique.
3. Tournez le contacteur
moteur sur « 7 » (MARCHE).
