The heating modes

The appliance must be in standby
mode before you can set it to one of
the heating modes. If you want to
change the heating mode during a
cooking process, you must first cancel the
cooking process.

Microwave mode

The pure microwave mode without grill or
combi function is particularly suitable for de-
frosting small portions, as well as for prepar-
ing casseroles, soups, sauces, meat with-
out the rind, steamed fish, vegetables, side
dishes (rice, potatoes, certain pasta) and hot
beverages.

QuickStart

Using the "QuickStart" function, you can
begin cooking immediately with no need to
make additional adjustments. With Quick-
Start, cooking takes place at full microwave
power.
• Press the "+30s" control dial (11).
The cooking process starts immediately at
full microwave power for 30 seconds.
• Press the "+30s" control dial (11) again to
add an additional 30 seconds to the cook-
ing time.
This function allows you to increase the
cooking time to up to 95 minutes.
