0.6 l machine oil (15 W–40).

Filling with petrol

Warning! Petrol is flammable
and harmful to health:
- Store petrol in vessels intended for
this;
- Only refuel in the open air and ne-
ver while the engine is running or
when the machine is hot;
- Carefully open the fuel cap so that
overpressure can be relieved;
- Do not smoke while refuelling;
Avoid skin contact and inhalation of
fumes;
- Remove spilled petrol.
- Keep petrol away from sparks, open
flames and other ignition sources..
- Do not use any petrol/oil mix-
ture.
- Use lead-free normal or premi-
um-grade petrol.
- Only use clean, fresh petrol.
- Do not store petrol for longer
than one month, as its quality
will deteriorate.
1. Disconnect the spark plug connector
( 29).
2. Unscrew the fuel cap (
with petrol up to the lower edge of the
filler neck. Do not fill the tank fully, so
that the petrol has space to expand.
3. Wipe petrol residues off the fuel cap
and close the fuel cap again.

Operation

Starting the engine

1) and fill
Warning! Disconnect all elec-
trical cables and devices from
the power generator before
each engine start.
CAUTION! Before the initial
start-up, engine oil
(15 W-40, approx. 0.6 l) and
fuel (lead-free or premium-
grade petrol) must be added.
Check fuel level and engine
oil, replenish if necessary.
Ensure that the power generator is ven-
tilated sufficiently.
Make sure that the ignition cable is
attached to the spark plug.
Disconnect any connected electrical
device from the power generator.
CAUTION! Starting with the
start rope (14) may result in
injury to the hand owing to
sudden kickback.
Wear protective gloves for starting
1. Open petrol tap (16); turn the tap
downwards for this.
2. Move On/Off switch (
to the "ON" position. Move the
choke lever (17) to the left positi-
on.
3. Start the engine with the start rope
(14); for this pull on the handle
vigorously. If the engine has not
started, pull on the handle again.
