TROUBLESHOOTING
SYMPTOMS
Engine starts but runs
unevenly.
Engine overheating
Cutterdeck shuts down
without being turned off.
Engine shuts down
immediately when
operator raises from
seat.
Gauges/Indicators not

Tractor does not respond
to movement of control

PROBABLE CAUSE
Fuel line not bled after
running out of fuel.
Water in fuel or plugged fuel
filter.
Engine air intake restricted.
Air flow through radiator
restricted.
Low coolant.
Engine overheating.
Open wiring circuit.
Time delay module, fuel shut
off timer.
Open wiring circuit.
Hydraulic oil bypassing
pumps.
Low level of hydraulic oil.
CHECK FOR
Air in fuel line.
Water in fuel bowl. Dirty fuel
filter.
Dirty air filter.
Plugged air screen.
Plugged radiator core.
Coolant level in surge tank.
Collapsed or leaking hose
between surge tank and
radiator.
Damaged radiator hose.

Blown 20 Amp fuse.
Loose wire harness terminals/
module/timer.
Loose wiring terminals or
damaged electrical wiring.
Blown 10 amp fuse.
