6.1 Preparing food

WARNING! Risk of material damage!
Thick or firm peels, (e.g. of citrus fruits,
pineapple), stems and pips of stone
fruits (e.g. cherries, peaches, apricots)
must be removed before blending.
• Rinse or wash the fruits.
• Cut the fruit into rough pieces (approx.
3 - 4 cm edge length).
• Use a sufficient amount of liquid (miner-
al water, fruit juice, milk, yoghurt). We
recommend a mixing ratio of 1:1.

6.2 Mixing/Chopping

CAUTION:
See the Min (minimum filling volume)
and Max (maximum filling volume)
markings on the beakers 14/16.
Depending on the hardness and consist-
ency of the ingredients, do not fill the
beaker 14/16 to the maximum, other-
wise the blade attachment 13 can get
blocked.
Place a maximum of 50 g of ice cubes
into the beaker 14/16. Crush the ice
cubes 5 times for 5 seconds.
NOTE: if the smoothie is too thick, add a lit-
tle mineral water, fruit juice, milk or yoghurt
to suit your taste.
1. Place the fruit pieces and any other in-
gredients into the beaker 14/16 as de-
sired. See the Min (minimum filling
volume) and Max (maximum filling vol-
ume) markings on the beakers 14/16.
2. Figure B: screw the blade attach-
ment 13 onto the beaker 14/16. En-
sure that the blade attachment is
screwed tightly onto the beaker.
3. Unwind as much power cable 4 as you
need from the cable spool 3.
4. Connect the mains plug 4 with the wall
socket.
5. Figure C: turn the beaker 14/16 over
and place it onto the base unit 5 so
that the arrow
ment 13 points to the symbol
the base unit 5.
6. Rotate the beaker 14/16 a short way
clockwise (towards the symbol
switch the device on.
7. Rotate the beaker 14/16 a short way
anticlockwise (towards the symbol
to switch the device off.
Wait until the blades of the blade attach-
ment 13 have come to a standstill.
8. Disconnect the mains plug 4 from the
wall socket.
9. Remove the beaker 14/16 from the
base unit 5 and turn it over.
10. Unscrew the blade attachment 13 and
ensure that the liquid drips into the
beaker 14/16.
11. Before using it again, and if necessary,
rinse the blade attachment 13 briefly
under running water.
12. Clean the device as soon as possible
after use.

7.1 Juicer cones for large
and small citrus fruits
Figure E: there are two different juicer
cones for different sizes of citrus fruits.
• For small citrus fruits (e.g. lemons,
limes), use the small juicer cone 11.
• For large citrus fruits (e.g. oranges,
grapefruit), place the large juicer
cone 12 onto the small juicer cone 11.
