General information

2.1 Annual inspection by qualified person
(UVV)
In addition to checking of the lifting platform following
initial commissioning, official regulations demand safety
acceptance by a qualified person at least once per year.
2.2 Warranty
As lifting platforms have to satisfy exacting safety
requirements to protect the personnel working with
them, it should be noted that the acknowledgement of
warranty claims is subject to the performance of proper
safety acceptance, maintenance work and appropriate
recording in the test log book.
Exclusive use is to be made of genuine Bosch
replacement parts. The installation of parts from other
manufacturers renders the type approval and any
warranty claims invalid.
2.3 Applicability of this documentation
This documentation describes the installation and
commissioning of the following 4-column lifting
platforms with electrohydraulic drive:

The individual models differ in terms of the length
and width of the runways as well as the equipment
involved (wheel-free scissor lift, sliding plate for wheel
alignment). In all cases the runway has a loadbearing
capacity of 4500 kg.

Functioning and operation of the lifting platforms
are described in the corresponding original
operating instructions.
2.4 Installation by third parties
These installation instructions and the information
given in the original operating instructions provided
must always be heeded. If the lifting platform is
not erected by Bosch customer service or a service
agent authorized by Bosch, the lifting platform must
subsequently be subjected to safety acceptance by
Bosch customer service or a service agent authorized
by Bosch.

Safety acceptance involves the following:

BGG 945.

Examination of the individual assemblies and
components.

Test log book entry as per BGG 945-1.

Personnel instruction (safety and operation).

Failure to conduct such safety acceptance will
render all warranty claims and liability invalid.

2.5.2 In-house transportation
The user must provide a fork lift truck for in-house
transportation. The center of gravity and lashing points
