3.14 Fitting front roll-off guard

The front roll-off guard is only to be fitted at the
front end of the left runway (runway at control
column).

Screw on the roll-off guard at the front end of the
left runway.

3.15 Setting cable monitoring switch

The rope monitoring switches are adjusted when the
running rail is lifted and under a load.
1. Raise the lifting platform under a load (average sized
vehicle) to approximately one meter high.

Do not press the setting-down button. The running
rail may only be borne by the wire ropes.
2. Set the actuating lever of the cable monitoring
switch at each column.

The clearance between the limit switch cam and
actuating element must be set to 1 mm.

Check function:
1. Without a load.
2. Place a piece of wood under the running rails, and
3. After checking, remove the wood.

If the lifting platform is lowered to a hindrance, the
movement of the running rails must stop. Lifting
should remain feasible, however (first switching
position).

If a rope breaks, the all directions of movement
of the platform are disabled (second switching
position). This prevents the running rails from
assuming a hazardous angle.
If a rope breaks, the rope monitoring switch is
enabled, and the safety lever stop presses against
the retaining rod.
You do not have to check the second switching
position.
