3.11.2 Fitting Bowden cable
1. Raise the wheel-free scissor lift such that the insides
of the runways are no longer covered by the scissor
mechanism.
2. Guide the end of the Bowden cable from the inner
slider of the main runway into the inner slider of the
secondary runway and engage at this point.

3. Pull out the end of the Bowden cable until the pin
of the safety switch is in the center of the switching
fork.

4. Tighten the clamp at the Bowden cable of the
secondary runway.
5. If necessary, set the adjusting nut (2 in Fig. 19) such
that the pin of the safety switch is exactly in the
center of the switching fork (2 in Fig. 20).
6. Raise the wheel-free scissor lift as far as it will go
and lower again. Make sure the pin is always in the
center of the switching fork.

During startup, the hydraulic system must be vented
until lowering proceeds at an even rate from the top
to the bottom end position.

To implement adjustment runs it may be necessary
to jumper the safety switch by means of the
jumpering button in the operating unit.

The wheel-free scissor lift is load-sensitive and
tilting may therefore occur when operated empty.
