3.10 Installing hydraulic system
3.10.1 Starting up hydraulic system

Trial operation was performed at the factory using
organic hydraulic fluid. Only ever use organic
hydraulic fluid.

The fluid tank is filled up to the bottom edge of the
dipstick. Only add hydraulic fluid up to max. 5 mm
above the bottom edge.
1. Connect the hydraulic hoses inside the lifting
platform on the basis of the hydraulics diagram.

Refer to Section 8 for hydraulics diagram.
2. Pour hydraulic fluid into the fluid tank at the
hydraulic unit.
3.10.2 Raising and lowering runway
1. Set the master switch to the ON (I) position.
 Lifting platform is activated.
2. Lifting platforms with wheel-free scissor lift: Set the
mode selector switch to position 1 (Runway).
3. Keep the "Lift" button (o) pressed.

The runway must be raised after a short delay.

If the platform does not rise: Check the direction
of rotation of the motor in the hydraulic unit. The
direction can be reversed by swapping two phases.
3.10.3 Bleeding runway hydraulic system
1. Raise and lower the runway several times with the
"Lift" and "Lower" buttons.

The fluid tank is filled up to the bottom edge of the
dipstick. Only add hydraulic fluid up to max. 5 mm
above the bottom edge.

The hydraulic cylinder independently releases air as
it is repeatedly lifted and lowered. More hydraulic
fluid may have to be added.

If further bleeding is required:
2. Open the bleed screw slightly at the hydraulic
cylinder.
3. Wait until hydraulic fluid emerges and then tighten
the bleed screw firmly again.
4. Fully lower the runway.
5. Check the fluid level.

3.11 Starting up wheel-free scissor lift

This Section only applies to lifting platforms equipped
with a wheel-free scissor lift.
3.11.1 Bleeding hydraulic system of
wheel-free scissor lift
1. Move the runway as far up as possible and set down
in the top latch.
2. Set the mode selector switch to position 2 (wheel-
free scissor lift).
3. Open the bleed screws slightly at both wheel-free
scissor lift cylinders.
4. Lift and lower the wheel-free jack several times
using the "Lift" and "Lower" pushbutton.
