Starting up the wheel-free scissor lift
(S/N 100490139 FD 02.2016 –)
This section only applies to lifting platforms equipped
with a wheel-free scissor lift.
3.12.1
Bleeding the hydraulic system
of wheel-free scissor lift
i
The throttle values NV1, NV2, NV3 are identified on
the hydraulic manifold.

Fig. 22:
1 Restrictor NV1
2 Restrictor NV2
3 Restrictor NV3
1. Open restrictor NV1, close restrictors NV2 and NV3.
2. Set the mode selector switch to position 2 (wheel-
free scissor lift).
3. Raise the wheel-free scissor lift. The master cylinder
is now filled with oil.
4. Close restrictor NV1, open restrictor NV2, restrictor
NV3 remains closed.
5. Raise the wheel-free scissor lift. The slave cylinder
and the bypass line are now filled with oil.
6. Convert the hydraulics of the wheel-free scissor lift
back to standard operation (see „3.12.2 Converting
the wheel-free scissor lift to standard operation").
7. Check the hydraulic fluid level and top up if
necessary.

3.12.2
Converting the wheel-free
scissor lift to standard operation
Set the restrictors NV1, NV2 and NV3 as follows:
$
Open restrictor NV1
$
Close restrictor NV2
$
Close restrictor NV3
3.12.3
Emergency drain for wheel-free scissor lift
DANGER – Safety function switched off!
During emergency draining, the safety
function is switched off.
Make sure that no persons or objects are in
the hazardous area.
1. Open restrictors NV1 and NV2.
2. Open the emergency lowering screw on valve
WSNM2.
3. Slowly open restrictor NV3. The wheel-free scissor
lift lowers.
4. Observe the lowering motion at all times. End the
lowering process by closing restrictor NV3..
5. Convert the hydraulics of the wheel-free scissor lift
back to standard operation (see „3.12.2 Converting
the wheel-free scissor lift to standard operation").
3.13
Fitting drive-on ramps
1. Position the adjustable roll-off guard (1) on the
center sleeve.
2. Position the drive-on ramp (3) at the two outer
sleeves.

3 Drive-on ramp
3. Slide the support rod through all 7 guides to secure
the set-up.
4. Fit the second drive-on ramp in a similar manner.
!
Check: The roll-off guard must be erected when the
runway is raised. The roll-off guard must be lowered
again on completely lowering the runway.
