Special accessories – stabilisation belts
Figure 4 We have developed stabilisation belts as special
accessories for the CONCORD LIFT PROTECT backrest.
These straps are designed to support the LIFT and
prevent movement in some car seats.
IMPORTANT: These belts are not necessary
components of the security system.
First of all select a suitable seat with a three-point belt
for the seat. Ensure that fixing belts will encircle the
backrest on the vehicle seat. The passenger seat or a
fold-down rear seat is ideal for this purpose.
Our drawing illustrates one way of attaching the seat.
PLEASE NOTE:
• Keep the belt buckles on a flat surface if possible
where they are easily accessible.
• The belts must not be twisted, damaged or
jammed.
• The free ends of the belt must always be secured.
• To prevent possible chafing on the vehicle seat, we
recommend that soft material is placed between
the belt and the seat at the critical points.
IMPORTANT: THE SUPPORT STRAPS MUST NOT BE
USED TO SECURE THE CHILD.
If the car has an integrated airbag, it must not be
covered or its function impaired by the seat belt.
