Using the CONCORD LIFT PROTECT
You have decided to purchase our CONCORD LIFT
PROTECT seat for the safety of your child.
This product is manufactured using careful quality
controls. It can only develop its maximum safety
properties if it is used properly. Therefore you should
ensure that you follow these instructions for fitting
and use carefully. The seat can be used on any of
the seats in a vehicle which have a three-point seat
belt. Statistics suggest that the place behind the
passenger seat is the safest in the car. The seat has
three essential elements: the backrest, the comfort
seat raiser and the adjustable head element with six
settings and an integrated shoulder section. Moreover,
it is equipped with a tilting backrest, which makes the
installation of the seat easier. Contrary to LIFT PRO, the
version CONCORD LIFT PROTECT additionally contains
the shoulder element.
To secure the child using the three-point seat belt
Place the CONCORD LIFT PROTECT on the seat facing

towards the front of the vehicle. Place your child into
the seat. Guide the three-point belt around the front of
the child to the buckle and fasten it in the same way as
for an adult (an audible click must be heard).
Now position the belts:
Thread the lap belt (G) on both sides, and the diagonal
belt (E) on the buckle side, into the belt apertures on
the seat shell (1).
Figure 1,2 Place the diagonal belt (E) into the shoulder belt slot (C)
provided for this purpose. Ensure that the belt is inside
the securing hook (C1). Move the head section to the
appropriate height by pressing the adjustment handle
(B) and sliding the head section. The head element is
height-adjustable with six different settings and must
click in when the adjustment knob is released.
