The shoulder strap slot (C) should be slightly higher
than the top of the shoulder (Figure 1).
At the same time, the shoulder strap should pass
between neck and tip of shoulder.
Pull the belt tight so that the lap belt and the diagonal
belt are in contact with the body and ensure that the
belts are not twisted. In this case, the lap belt should
pass as deep as possible.
If your vehicle has a seat belt height adjuster, move it to
the appropriate height.
On vehicles which are fitted with headrests as standard,
the seat can be fitted to better effect by adjusting or
removing the headrest. The CONCORD LIFT PROTECT
achieves a better fitting on the backrest of the car,
which is made possible by its ability to tilt to the angle
of the seat (see picture).
Please note: If you wish to use this seat for an adult
passenger, the standard headrest must be fitted again
in the correct position.
When getting the child out of the seat undo the buckle
and move the belt off the child. When refastening the
belt, however, ensure that all sections of the belt are
correctly positioned.
The seat must not be transported in the vehicle without
being secured, even if there is no child in it. In an
accident situation it may injure somebody in the vehicle.
Therefore the diagonal belt must be fastened at all
times when the vehicle is moving.
