Installing the WLAN card in the
acquisition unit
The upgrade kit must be available and complete, see "Installing the "CISCO"
WLAN card, installing and configuring the software".
All programs have been terminated and the PC has been shut down
(Start/Shutdown).
1. Switch off the acquisition unit.
2. Remove the PC and open its housing.
3. Remove the bottom PCI slot cover (A).
4. Loosen all slot cover screws (B).
1. Push the antenna through the opening in the slot cover.
2. Insert the WLAN card and fasten it in the slot.
3. Refasten all other slot cover screws.
1. Close the PC and affix the technical service seal included in the scope of
supply.
2. Put the PC back in place.
1. Cut off a strip from the softer Velcro strap that is approximately as long as
the antenna.
2. Stick this strip of Velcro strap onto the antenna.
